Date: 2/12/2016

  • time: 11:00 - 12:30
  • location: Bond Dickinson, Whitehall Riverside, Leeds, LS1 4BN
  • In partnership with Revo, the Local Government Association and Local Partnerships, the British Property Federation is launching updated procurement guidance for local authorities.

Public procurement rules can be tricky to navigate. Although designed to ensure that public bodies award contracts in a fair and transparent manner, they are often misunderstood, creating unnecessary barriers that can hinder the regeneration of urban sites. It is essential that public bodies understand what is and isn't likely to be subject to public procurement rules at an early in the procurement process. This is particularly important at a time when many of our towns and cities need significant investment in properties and infrastructure in order to meet the needs of businesses and residents.
Join us at our regional roundtable to pick up a copy of our updated guidance and hear from our experts as we delve into how best to navigate the OJEU process. Spaces are limited so please get back to us as soon as you can. If you want to attend, please email Stacey Kasongo (skasongo@bpf.org.uk).
