2. WELCOME BY TONY CORFIELD, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR TOURISM AND LEISURE, SEFTON COUNCIL
2.1 Tony welcomed everyone to Southport Town Hall. He gave apologies for the absence of the Director who had been called to an emergency budget meeting for the Council. Following a brief introduction he gave a presentation on the regeneration of Southport entitled, "Creating England's Classic Resort".
