  • Outline:  The planning system has undergone drastic changes in the last five years, with the introduction of the NPPF, Local Plans, and changes to infrastructure funding. With new structures now bedding in and the 2015 general election fast-approaching, this is an opportune moment to review the challenges and opportunities presented to local authorities and businesses as a result of these changes, as well as looking forward to what the future could, and should, hold.
