Item 7 The Chair advised the meeting that Andy Johnson had volunteered to take on the role of Secretary of the POS Spatial Planning & Policy Committee. In addition Dave reminded the Committee that the post of Vice Chair remained vacant. Andy has also volunteered to take on this role. These appointments were agreed by the Committee.  Dave Simpson to action.

4.  Implications of RSS Revocation/CLG Committee InquiryThe Chair introduced this item and advised that a CLG Committee has launched an Inquiry into the abolition of RSS and that interested parties are invited to submit evidence by 15 September 2010.
