Even now the pace of adoption is slow, with only 20% of core strategies and less than 5% of site allocations DPDs having been adopted by December 2010, according to the DCLG study referenced above (see footnote 2). The table below reproduces Table 1 from the DCLG report and shows the overall state of development plan production at December 2010.
