Extract from an article by John Silvester, president of POS 2002/03 published in Planning magazine on 5th July 2002:
Mistrust and suspicion are spread across all areas of life, supposedly with good reason if evidence by pollsters is to be believed. Polls supposedly show that in the UK public trust in office holders and professionals of many sorts is low and indeed declining.
What does this mean for POS? It leaves me with a firm belief in the integrity and professionalism of the members of the society.
