Good Practice Guidance

• POS took part in October 2007 in the preparation of good practice guidance; this was updated in Dec 2008 - see Planning for continuing care retirement communities: issues and good practice
• The Housing our Ageing Population Panel for Innovation (HAPPI) has gathered good practice from across Europe and put together new and creative proposals to help put us at the forefront of housing for older people; to find out more click here.

John Silvester attended a LGA workshop on 7th October 2010 on "Housing and Neighbourhoods fit for an Ageing Population" to discuss a draft report due to be published soon.  Details to be posted in due course.
