The Society has responded to the Highways Agency on its consultation on new roadside facilities. See the message and detailed response below.

At the Cabinet meeting of the Planning Officers Society on 19th December, you asked for the Society's views on appropriate guidance for the development of roadside facilities.  Please find attached a short note that addresses this issue.  I realise that the note is fairly brief and wonder if it would be helpful to have an early meeting to help scope out the work in more detail, and flesh out the issues?
