Draft Response to the Local Plans Regulations

Generally, the Society welcomes the proposed changes to the Regulations, the main thrust of which will be to increase the discretion available to planning authorities and to provide a modest but worthwhile efficiency saving in the plan-making process. We do, however, have the a number of comments and questions on points of detail.
