200,000 homes a year as promised by Labour Could Re-Inforce Influential role of Planning in Delivering Growth, Says Silvester

Date: 15/4/2015

John Silvester, the Society's Communications Manager, told a Planning reporter that if Labour intend to get 200,000 homes built each year by 2020 by implementing the recommendations of the Lyons Review then "this would be a step forward in re-inforcing the importance and influential role of planning in local government and delivering growth."

Silvester added that POS was "particularly pleased to see many aspects of its own Manifesto "Planning for a Better Future" featured in the Lyons Review, especially our suggestions on improving the Local Plan process."
