POS Comments on Ruling of CALA Case

John Silvester, the Spokesperson for POS, in response to questions from Planning magazine regarding the implications of the final ruling in the CALA case,  said " My view on the matter with regard to housing targets has not changed; that is that a LPA needs to have justification, based on robust evidence, for selecting housing targets that are different to that in a waning RSS.  After all, the evidence on which the RSS itself was based has not changed, even if the RSS is eventually abolished."
