POS Concerned Over Slow Progress on LDFs Shown in the DCLG Annual Report

Now the DCLG Annual Report has been released David Hackforth, POS President, told Planning magazine “We share the select committee’s concern over slow progress on LDFs and through POS Enterprises Ltd we provide tailored support to councils to help them progress their LDFs. However, many councils have not been able to take up this support because CLG has failed to make the 2009/10 HPDG awards. John Healey announced the provisional awards in December last year (already very late) but the recommendations for the final awards apparently remain on his desk. This casts doubt on the Government’s real commitment.”
