POS Responds to New Homes Bonus Consultation

POS fully recognises that the focus for the New Homes Bonus is to incentivise the delivery of additional dwellings. 

"This could, however, have the unintended consequence of discriminating against those authorities whose primary focus is the regeneration of existing housing.  Regeneration is of at least equal importance to new build and should not be discouraged" said Nicky Linihan for the Society.
