POS Response to Eddington Transport Study

Business gains and development, and more recently regeneration, are often stated as being some of the positive externalities of many proposed new transport infrastructure schemes. Although the actual impact that new transport infrastructure has had on the economy has proved difficult to quantify, a direct link between transport and the economy has often been suggested.
