RESPONSE TO PROSPEROUS PLACES: TAKING FORWARD THE REVIEW OF SUB NATIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REGENERATION.
We welcome the recognition by the Government that each region should be allowed to decide how to organise itself in its relationship to the RDA. This acknowledges the need for local authorities and their partners to operate in ways that reflect the unique character of each region. We do, however, have serious concerns about the proposals for the governance of the new arrangements.
