Permitted development rights for small scale renewable and low carbon energy technologies, and electric vehicle charging infrastructure

The Planning Officers Society is supportive of proposals to extend permitted development rights , where the developments in question have limited impact and will contribute to the timely delivery of sustainable developments. As such in principle the Society welcomes the proposals as set out in the consultation paper, but would make the following observations on specific elements.
