1.         APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS

Nominations were invited for the appointment of officers for the Committee and the following appointments were agreed:-

2.         MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON THE 22 MAY 2009

(a)        Compendium of Planning Articles:  This item was deferred to the next meeting.

(b)        Migration Advisory Committee Shortage Occupation List:  Dave Ayre reported that he had e-mailed the Planning Advisory Service and responded to this consultation.

(c)        Date of Future Meetings:  Steve Oxenham reported that the next meeting of the Committee was due to be held at 2.00 pm on the 20 November 2009 with lunch commencing at 1.00 pm.  ACTION:  ALL TO NOTE

3.         BEST PRACTICE CASE STUDY - SOUTHWARK

The Committee considered a request from the Director of Lycodia, Mr Paresh Chudasama, for the opportunity through the Planning Officers' Society to share a Best Practice Case Study that they had been working up with the London Borough of Southwark.  It was agreed to invite Paresh, together with colleagues from the London Borough of Southwark, to present their Case Study to the next meeting of the Committee on the 20 November.  ACTION:  DAVE AYRE
