The Cabinet is the driving force of the Society. It consists of the President, Senior Vice President, Junior Vice President, Immediate Past President, Vice Presidents Emeritus, Secretary and Publicity Officer together with the Committee Chairpersons (or other nominated representative) and a member nominated by each of the Society's 9 Regional Groups. The Cabinet also has the power to co-opt any other members deemed appropriate.
Meetings of the Cabinet are help approximately 5 times a year, see the Events Schedule for details.

Cabinet Work Programme 2008/09
This promises to be another busy year, given the Government's new legislative programme, and the major pieces of work that are still going through the system. One of the President’s objectives for this year is to ensure that we are well prepared to effectively engage in the programme and therefore he proposed that each member of Cabinet takes responsibility for a piece of legislation, to act as the focal point for the Society, and to co-ordinate activity in providing an input when required; progress will be monitored through the Cabinet meetings.
