Social Housing Conference 2008 – Delivering Better Services, Standards and Meeting the Demand for Homes
Hosted by The House Magazine on Thursday, 16 th October 2008 to be held in Westminster .
The Local Government Association’s recent report warns that with the changing economic climate two million households could find themselves on the waiting list for social housing by 2010. With this increased pressure comes rising expectations for better standards in service delivery from front line social housing practitioners and providers. In response, the government has implemented new measures and strategies to not only address the increasing need for such housing but to ensure the highest standards in service provision.
Participants at this Westminster Briefing Conference will have the opportunity to discuss and debate the current and future challenges for social housing practitioners and providers, share examples of best practice, and consider the way forward. Please refer to the above agendas for further details.
Should you/your colleagues wish to attend please complete and return (by email or fax) the attached reservation form at your earliest convenience in order to secure your delegate place(s).
