Communications Manager

Nicky is a chartered town planner with over 30 years’ experience including as a Chief Planning Officer.She is currently POS’s Housing Specialist and Communications Manager.  Her experience includes planning and transport policy, economic development, partnership working and community engagement, as well as developing investment plans.  She has operated at the regional, sub-regional, unitary, London borough and district levels.  Nicky has been a consultant planning inspector, provides critical friend support to local authorities on their housing requirements and local plan development, and chaired a national working group on housing requirements. She also acted as the interim Director of Planning for the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation during its set up phase, is a Design Council Built Environment Expert and a member of the RTPI.
