Design in the new planning process
This CPD webinar will cover how design policy will be incorporated into the planning process, following the recent planning changes in England. The session will cover the production and use of design codes and guides at sub-regional, local plan, area and site levels. The session will also introduce the work of the West Midlands Design & Place Network.
The session will be led by:
- Steve Barker, Lead Officer, Design & Placemaking, Planning Advisory Service
- Kate Harris, Planning Officer & Urban Designer, Sandwell Council and West Midlands Place Advocate
