POS has developed a series of topic guides based on the research and report led by Catriona Riddell & Associates and supported by POS. These guides - Local and strategic planning as an enabler - are designed to support CEOs, members, officers and the wider development industry with addressing the key issues and tasks coming out from LGR and Devolution.

Topic Guides v.1

These POS topic guides will be developed over the coming months as LGR and devolution is further rolled out across England. POS will be holding regular sessions with councils and those across the development sector to review the guides, learn from and promote best practice and identify the challenges facing local planning teams and those developing Spatial Development Strategies.
